SCALE-O USP

Scale-O : 0 Factor

Scale-O chemically alters the structure and forms a coating on Ca+2 & Mg+2 ions present in hard water such that they do not react with negative ions like Cl-1 or SO4-2 and prevents the formation insoluble salts or scale in common language.

How to Install?

  1. Unbox the softener and remove bubble wrap.
  2. Tie the black rope to a nearby source (tank lid, cover, or pipe).
    Note: If no tie point is available, drop the softener directly into the tank.
  3. Ensure it’s submerged a few inches above the tank’s bottom.
  4. Close the lid – installation complete!

How It Works?

Scale-O uses chelation technology to alter the structure of Calcium and Magnesium ions, preventing them from reacting with negative ions like Chlorides and Sulphates , thus avoiding scale formation. It doesn’t alter water's pH, taste, color, or odor, and is safe for daily use in cooking, washing, and showering.

How to Test?

  1. Boil equal amounts of source water and softened water for 5 minutes.
  2. Source Water: Will be turbid with white deposits, indicating hardness.
  3. Softened Water: Will remain clear, indicating scale absence.
  4. This boiling test is a quick way to check softening performance.

How to Clean?

  1. Pull up the softener for tank cleaning or when water isn’t used for a long time.
  2. Store it in a dry place if not used for over a month, and reinstall when needed.

When to Replace?

  1. Indicator 1: The softener floats or feels lighter.
  2. Indicator 2: The Boiling test shows severe hardness in softened water.

How to Replace?

  1. Remove the softener using the attached rope.
  2. Dry and pack it for return in a polyethylene bag.
  3. We’ll collect the return parcel and send a new softener.
  4. Install the new softener the same way as the original.
