Scale-O : 0 Factor

Scale-O chemically alters the structure and forms a coating on Ca+2 & Mg+2 ions present in hard water such that they do not react with negative ions like Cl-1 or SO4-2 and prevents the formation insoluble salts or scale in common language.

How to Install?

  1. Unbox and remove bubble wrap.
  2. Tie the black rope to the tank lid, cover, or nearby pipe.
    Note: If no tie is available, drop the softener into the tank when filling, and remove once emptied.
  3. Ensure the softener is submerged a few inches above the bottom.
  4. Close the lid – installation complete!

How it Works?

Scale-O uses chelation technology to alter Calcium and Magnesium ions in water, preventing scale formation without salt or power. It retains essential minerals, maintaining the water’s pH, taste, and safety for daily use, including cooking, washing, and showering.

How to Test?

  1. Boil equal amounts of source water and softened water for 5 minutes.

  2. Source Water: Will be turbid with white deposits, indicating hardness.

  3. Softened Water: Will be clear and free from white deposits, indicating scale absence.

  4. This test is quick and reliable for checking water softening.

How to Clean?

  1. Pull up the softener for tank cleaning or when water isn’t used for a while.
  2. Store in a cool, dry place if not in use for over a month.
  3. Reinstall before use.

When to Replace?

  1. Indicator 1: Softener floats or feels lighter.
  2. Indicator 2: The Boiling test shows severe hardness in softened water.

How to Replace?

  1. Remove the softener from the tank using the rope.
  2. Dry it with wipes and pack it in a polyethylene bag for return.
  3. We will collect the return parcel and send a new softener.
  4. Install the new softener the same way as the original.
